raccoon.ccf.computebisector(x, y, xerr, n=100)

Compute bisector and its errors.

Parameters:

x, y1d arrays

Data. Must have a Gaussian-like shape.

xerr1d array

x datapoints errors.

nint (default 100)

Number of points of bisector.

Returns:

bx, by1d arrays

Bisector x and y coordinates.

bxerr1d array

Bisector x datapoints error.

bx1, bx21d arrays

x values at the bisector heights by for each side of the line.

bx1err, bx2err1d arrays

Errors for the data bx1 and bx2.
